A Century of International Horse Sport

Few sights are as enthralling as horse and rider, in perfect partnership, riding for the glory of their country. Whether it is the thrill of three-day eventing, the bravado of show jumping, or the elegance of dressage, the Olympic equestrian disciplines offer horsemanship and athleticism at the highest level.

Olympic Equestrian chronicles the evolution of the Olympic equestrian sports and their mainstream status in today's Olympic Games. Author Jennifer O. Bryant also shares the stories of such great Olympic partnerships as David O'Connor and Custom Made, Beezie Madden and Authentic, and Debbie McDonald and Bretina.

Contains results of every Olympics and more than 100 photos, many of them historical.
